Everyone in OKC got the Tripple 8 so I decided it was time to go to the darkside and customize a super expensive helmet. I stripped down the clear coat, put 4 coats of primer and 4 more coats of quality matte black spray paint. I also shot it all on my GoPro of the course of three days, sweet time-lapse coming soon.

Stand up toeside checks is one of the big elephants I’ve been trying to tackle. Rain is great for practicing in, obviously it’s a lot easier to release the wheels.

BOARDER CROSSING 4

After a killer day of technical runs we finished it off with some park skating at a local spot. There weren’t any lights so we made due rippin’ bowls in the dark. The next day we got up early, but not before the rain. It started to pour as soon as we left the hotel. That didn’t stop us from hitting up a run that one of the local kids at the park told us about. We decided to head home and hit one more spot in between the storms. We didn’t get to hit all the places we wanted to, so be on the look out for the next Board Crossing to be extra gnar.
